8 Days: Essential of Korea

Your journey through Korea begins the moment you arrive in Jeju, an island where volcanic landscapes, dramatic coastlines, and a relaxed island atmosphere set the tone for your adventure. After reaching your hotel and settling in, the rest of the day is yours to unwind, recover from your travels, or step outside and enjoy your first taste of Jeju's natural beauty and peaceful charm.

We'll spend a full-day private excursion exploring the eastern side of Jeju Island. First stop: Seongeup Folk Village, where we'll get a real feel for local culture and traditions. Then we head to Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jeju's iconic volcanic cone, with sweeping views out to sea. We'll cruise along the scenic Jongdalri coastal road and catch a live demonstration by the legendary haenyeo divers. To round off the day, we'll wander through Bijarim Forest — a truly special natural setting filled with centuries-old nutmeg trees.

Free morning — we'd suggest heading out to explore the beaches on the western side of the island. In the afternoon, airport transfer for your flight to Busan.

Private guided tour of South Korea's second-largest city, hitting all the highlights. We'll explore the Gamcheon Culture Village, Samgwangsa Temple, and the Nampo-dong neighbourhood, home to the Busan Tower.

Free morning — In the afternoon, transfer to the station to catch your train to Seoul.

Private tour by public transport for a full visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, photos at Cheong Wa Dae (the Blue House), and a short walk through the Hanok Village.

Today you'll explore Seoul on your own—here are some places that might interest you:

• Insadong: A lively district filled with traditional tea houses, art galleries, craft shops, and street food.
• Bukchon Observatory: A quieter viewpoint offering lovely city and rooftop views.
• N Seoul Tower: Ride the cable car or hike up for panoramic views of the city, especially beautiful in the late afternoon or after sunset.
• Myeongdong: One of Seoul's most vibrant neighborhoods, perfect for shopping, Korean cosmetics, and sampling a wide variety of street food in the evening.
